The wind that blows over Lake Inawashiro from Mt. Bandai is essential to the sake brewing at Sasanogawa Sake Brewery. The dry, cold winter wind makes the sake more delicious. Well water with high hardness is used, which is rare in Japan. They also brew Japanese whiskey that are well-known worldwide.
